What are the differences between your in-person, virtual, and online courses? Our in-person, instructor-led course is for you if you benefit from being in a classroom environment with face-to-face interactions with your instructor and fellow students. A textbook and supplemental materials are provided to instructor-led students. Our virtual courses are interactive and instructor-led with a set schedule. You have the benefit of an instructor and classmates from the comfort of your home using a computer or laptop equipped with a webcam. Virtual students have access to the same textbook and supplemental materials as our in-person students. The online course is a self-paced, independent study course. You can go through the course as quickly, or as slowly as you prefer. Online courses are popular with students who do not live close to a classroom location or are not able to fit an instructor-led course into their schedule. Online students can contact the school to ask questions if the course material is not clear.
What are the computer system requirements to take your courses? All of our tests are conducted digitally. Students must have access to a computer or laptop with a webcam and internet access. How many questions are on your proctored course final exam? For the online course, there are 100 multiple-choice questions on the course final exam. You have two (2) hours to complete the exam. For the instructor-led course, there are 152 multiple-choice questions on the course final exam. You have four (4) hours to complete the exam. All course final exams require a score of 72% or higher to pass.
Once I pass the course when can I schedule my State Exam? Upon completion of your course, and passing the course final exam, your information will be electronically submitted to the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC) within seven business days. You will receive an email from PSI with instructions to schedule your State Exam.
What is the attendance policy for the instructor-led courses? Students must be on time and remain in class for the duration of each class session to receive credit. GREC requires a total of 75 hours of attendance. Make-up time is at the discretion of the instructor. Students who miss more than eight (8) hours will be dropped from the class. The student is not entitled to a refund.
What does the fee for the instructor-led course include? Are there any additional fees? The instructor-led course fee includes all materials, textbook, instruction, and class exams. CRAM courses are optional and offered for an additional fee.
What is the refund policy for instructor-led courses? Refunds are only given in the event the course is canceled or the start date is rescheduled by Atlanta Partners Real Estate School, and the student can no longer attend due to the date change.
What is the transfer policy for instructor-led courses? If a student wishes to transfer to a different Atlanta Partners Real Estate School Pre-License Course, they must do so PRIOR to the 2nd class session of the course. The student must notify the school in writing by sending an email to the APRES School Director at info@atlantapartnersrealestateschool.com with which class they would like to be transferred to. Students are not entitled to transfer classes after the 2nd class session has occurred.If the book for the new class is not the same that was received for the original class, the student will have to pay an additional fee for the new book.
If I decide to do the class online without an instructor and don’t like it, can I transfer the online course fee to an instructor-led course? Unfortunately not. The fee for the online course is not transferable to the instructor-led course, and vice versa. The instructor-led fee is not transferable to the online course.
How long do I have to complete the online course? You have six (6) months to complete the online course and successfully pass the proctored course final exam.
What is the refund policy for your online pre-license course? Refunds are not given for any online courses purchased through Atlanta Partners Real Estate School
How will I be notified when my Post-License and Continuing Education hours have been submitted to the Georgia Real Estate Commission (GREC)? Upon completion of any of our Post-License and Continuing Education Classes, your information is submitted electronically to GREC within seven business days from the date it was completed. You can create an online account on the Georgia Real Estate Commission website to view your course completions that have been submitted to the GREC.
